Sonia,
I'm so glad you are no longer experiencing child abuse and I'm glad you have found a safe family who knows how to love you. Know that you have every right to every feeling that comes. Once you know what it feels like to be loved, and how people who love each other treat each other, you will know how to love others. And someday when you are healed, you may or may not choose to know what your biological parent's journey's were. What ever you feel at the time is the right path for you.

I am a survivor of childabuse, it affected me quite badly but i'm battling through it, I don't think I could ever meet my real parents but forgiveness for me is such a long way away, I'm going through stage 2, at the moment, I'm proud to say I'm adopted, I love my parents, and the abuse? Is far gone.
